Floral Design The 'Green' Way
In this section of floral designs, We source locally grown seasonal flowers and foliage from local growers, from local markets, private estates and we also use flowers, foliage and plants of which we grow in our own gardens, thus promoting low carbon footprints.
If you choose to have locally grown seasonal flowers for your wedding, you could plant the same in your garden and this will be a true reminder of your wedding day as well as putting plants back into the soil.
An alternative to using fresh flowers is to have artificial silk flowers in your wedding bouquet. They are everlasting and with today’s good quality artificial flowers can be very striking and look just like real flowers.
We are continually looking for ways to recycle empty containers and make them part of a floral design. An example is the yellow bag design below, which we have recycled as it was originally a plastic container for a household product.
